Process to Convert Plastics Into Clean Fuels and Renewable Chemicals
Dr. Nouf AlJabri is a geophysicist with the Reservoir Engineering Technology Division at Saudi Aramco’s EXPEC Advanced Research Center (EXPEC ARC) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Nouf holds a Ph.D. and MSc in Chemical Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Her innovation allows for the selective production of clean fuel and renewable chemicals through the conversion of plastic waste that don’t require the high temperatures and pressures that current technologies demand. This is made possible by nanoplatforms that are energy-efficient, easy to synthesize, inexpensive, and scalable.
