Dr. Malak is an American board-certified physician-scientist in Clinical Pathology, Anatomical Pathology, Neuropathology and Molecular Genetics Pathology. She studied and worked at Georgetown, University of California San Francisco, Stanford, Johns Hopkins and Harvard. She’s a national and international awards winner in her field and published over 100 papers in peer review journals and conferences. Currently, she’s the director-general for the general directorate of national RDI coordination and associate research professor at King Abdulaziz City for science and technology (KACST), director of the satellite administration chair of genomic research and consultant physician at King Fahad Medical City (KFMC), part-time faculty at Baylor College of Medicine, she worked before as junior faculty at Harvard faculty in Medicine. and founder of the Center for Individualized Diagnostics (Genomic Startup Company).
